When thinking about how the workplace is evolving there's obviously quite a lot for organizations to think about, but where do they start? Should they start by investing in technology? What about redoing their HR department? Maybe they should focus on management and leadership training? Maybe perks and compensation packages? The no. 1 thing to focus on is listening to employees! Every organization I have spoken with and researched that has implemented new initiatives around everything ranging from HR to training to compensation to perks and benefits, has done so because employees asked for those things not because they were nice bells and whistles to spend time and money on.
